LINE reported that second quarter earnings amounted to 70 cents per share, marking a 22.81% surprise. LINE sports a dividend yield of 8.46% and, on Aug 14, paid a dividend of 63 cents to shareholders of record on Aug 7. In addition, LINE enjoys a per share price of $41.07.
Targa Resources Partners LP (NASDAQ: NGLS) has become one of the largest providers of integrated midstream natural gas services in the country. Moreover, NGLS offers a dividend yield of 9.07%, and therefore satisfies the criteria for this profit track. On Aug 14, the company paid out a dividend of 51 cents to shareholders of record on Aug 4. NGLS announced second-quarter earnings of 54 cents per share, while analysts expected 45 cents.
Aktieselskabet Dampskibsselskabet Torm (NASDAQ: TRMD) sports a dividend yield of 13.10% and a Zacks #1 Rank. TRMD announced second-quarter results of $2.10 per share, which were way above analysts' expectations of $1.29. In addition, the company recently increased its profit guidance for fiscal year 2008 to between $355 million and $370 million, compared to its earlier outlook of $295 million to $315 million.
Williams Partners L.P. (NYSE: WPZ) meets the requirements for this profit track with a high dividend yield of 8.62% and a per share price of $29.00. On Aug 14, the company paid a dividend of 62 cents for the second quarter, ending on Jun 30. WPZ also announced year-over-year first-quarter earnings of 92 cents per share, compared to 56 cents. Analysts expected earnings of 76 cents. WPZ, through its subsidiaries, primarily finds, produces, gathers, processes and transports natural gas.
