BOSTON -- Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) today announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission staff has notified the Company that the investigation of the Company's historical stock option grant practices has been completed.

In its notice to the Company, the Commission staff also stated that it does not intend to recommend any enforcement action by the Commission in this matter.
