Allan Gribben to Drive Global Sales in New Director Role at Willis

NEW YORK -- Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, announced today that Allan Gribben, CEO of Willis International, has been appointed Global Sales & Marketing Director, which includes responsibility for the "Client and Growth" initiative, part of Shaping our Future, Willis' strategy for profitable growth.
Building on his success in growing Willis' international business, Gribben will be responsible for leading the global team charged with attracting new clients, developing existing client relationships and identifying new market opportunities to drive revenue and profit growth for Willis. His role will also include responsibility for the company's Client and Growth initiatives to enhance client retention and profitability, increase sales productivity and pipeline management, and further extend the Willis Client Advocate[R] service model worldwide.

With Gribben's appointment, Willis International will now be driven by three senior Willis leaders: Brendan McManus, CEO of Willis UK & Ireland; Eugenio Paschoal, CEO of Willis Latin America, and Flavio Piccolomini, CEO of Willis Continental Europe. They will report directly to Plumeri.

Sarah Turvill will continue in her role as Chairman of Willis International and CEO, Willis Emerging Markets, and will take on additional responsibility for Australasia. Adam Garrard continues as CEO, Australasia, reporting to Turvill.
