New Product Marks First Line Extension Since Green Works Brand Launch in Early 2008

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Clorox Company today announced the introduction of Green Works[TM] Natural Dishwashing Liquid, which joins the company's line of natural cleaning products introduced in early 2008.

Green Works Natural Dishwashing Liquid cuts through tough messes like greasy cooked-on and baked-on food. It is safe on a variety of cooking and eating surfaces, including plastic, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, glass and porcelain.

All Green Works natural cleaners are made using plant-based ingredients derived from coconuts, as well as essential oils. The products are formulated using biodegradable ingredients, are packaged in bottles that can be recycled and not tested on animals. The Green Works line now includes seven natural cleaning products for use in the home, kitchen and bathroom:

Green Works Natural Dishwashing Liquid has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for using environmentally preferable chemistry, and carries the "Design for Environment" certification logo.
