AVANT licensed a rotavirus strain to GlaxoSmithKline that was used in the development of Rotarix([R]) for the prevention of rotavirus infection. In addition, AVANT has two human food safety vaccines for reducing salmonella infection in chickens and eggs which have been commercialized.
