Apptis Extends its Capacity to Serve the Department of Homeland Security

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Apptis, Inc., a leading IT and communications services provider to the federal marketplace, announced today the acquisition of Base One Technologies LTD, headquartered in New Rochelle, New York. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
"With this acquisition we have extended our capacity to serve the Department of Homeland Security and expanded our contract portfolio significantly. The Eagle contract enhances our ability to deliver superior services to the Department of Homeland Security and provides a terrific compliment to our successful program management, information assurance, and systems development projects at DHS," said Paul Leslie, President and COO of Apptis.
Under the terms of the acquisition, Base One Technologies will operate as a subsidiary of Apptis and continue to serve as a prime contractor for the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) contract, under Functional Category 5 for Management Support Services. EAGLE was established as an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle for information technology services, systems and solutions.
