TopRight Wins This Year's Client Advisor Award

Business Wire, Dec 18, 2008

ATLANTA -- Atlanta-based strategic marketing consultancy, TopRight, won the award for top Small Professional Services Firm in this year's prestigious Client Advisor Awards. Now in its third year, the CAAs recognize Atlanta business community leaders in best practice relationships between consultants and their clients.

TopRight celebrated the honor with two of their clients who also won--InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in the Large Client category and WordRake in the Small Client category. Accepting on behalf of TopRight were managing partners Bob Davis and Dave Sutton.

This recession has posed acute pressure on the professional services industry, especially those relying on corporate budgets. Andrew Dietz, managing partner of Creative Growth Group, noted "providing order and guidance amid chaos deepens advisor-client relationships." TopRight believes a recession just provides a more macroscopic platform for advice.

Senior Vice President of Global Learning for IHG, Lynne Zappone, noted, "While some client-advisor relationships are driven by the client, treating the advisor as a "vendor," and other relationships are led primarily by the consulting firm, IHG and TopRight built a true partnership. We continue to carry out strategies we developed together and financial results have exceeded expectations."

For the other client winner, WordRake, CEO Steve Chamberlain said, "I have been involved in 14 technology startups. All of them faced the same conundrum: Limited budgets, scarce staff, and tight timelines. Our relationship with TopRight took on new meaning as they helped us craft a brand and position second to none. They define the role of successful consultants of the future who are willing to contribute far beyond strategic thinking and advice."

"We are thrilled to be recognized for our work. In high level consulting, your reputation among clients is everything. We appreciate the confidence from IHG, WordRake, and all of our clients," said Sutton. TopRight continues to thrive in these uncertain economic times, offering its unique blend of the art and science of marketing.
