Cyberswim Selects ATG to Re-Launch its e-Commerce Web Site
Business Wire, Dec 9, 2008
Cyberswim.com to undergo revamp to handle larger volume; new site will offer customers a more personalized experience
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- ATG (Art Technology Group, Inc., NASDAQ: ARTG), the leading e-commerce solutions provider, today announced that Cyberswim, an independent online merchant specializing in Miraclesuit swimwear, has selected ATG's Commerce Suite to power its e-commerce Web site. The ATG Commerce Suite will give Cyberswim merchants full control of the online storefront, granting its line of business and marketing teams the ability to customize specific features and creatively market the site to its expanding, loyal customer base.
Cyberswim has grown steadily for nearly a decade, starting out as a small, independent online merchant specializing in Miraclesuit swimwear that delivers three times the body shaping and holding power of ordinary swimsuits. Today the company is the largest direct supplier of Miraclesuits on the web, selling strictly by catalog and online. With a rapidly expanding pool of customers, it became clear that Cyberswim needed an e-commerce platform to help propel its Web store to new heights. After evaluating several e-commerce product suites, ATG emerged as the ideal solution as it offers the most comprehensive, flexible, scalable, and integrated platform that directly addressed specific business needs.
"We rely heavily on our online presence as a key driver to our success," said Lisa Stephen, president, Cyberswim. "Our current e-commerce platform is not flexible enough and simply doesn't allow us to customize the site as quickly as we need in order to compete in today's retail environment. Cyberswim is very excited to work with ATG, because we know we will be able to increase Web sales dramatically by serving our loyal customers in a more dynamic and personalized way."
Upon implementing ATG's Commerce Suite, Cyberswim will immediately be able to choreograph personal customer interactions that effectively and efficiently provide customers with relevant offers to keep them coming back for more. Business and technical strategy firm Desato will work closely with ATG and Cyberswim to create the new site, which also features integration with technology from Bazaarvoice, another valued ATG partner.
"Cyberswim truly understands that in order to strengthen relationships with customers, they must connect with them in a personal way through their Web site," said Bill Zujewski, ATG's vice president of product marketing. "We're glad to be working with yet another impressive brand that is committed to its customers and we are eager to celebrate another successful re-launch."
The ATG Commerce Suite is a comprehensive, flexible, highly scalable e-commerce platform that drives every phase of a personalized online shopping experience. By making shopping and buying experiences more personal and fulfilling for visitors, commerce sites deployed on the ATG platform yield higher conversion rates and order sizes.
