Maryland MVA Enhances Driver Training with SiteExecutive™ Web Content Management Software

New Online Driver Tutorial Developed as a SiteExecutive Custom Module, Lets MVA Personnel Manage and Update Test without Coding or Technical Support

SPARKS, Md. -- Systems Alliance, Inc., a software development firm and systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced it had developed an online training tutorial for the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) used for preparing drivers for the written law test, which they must pass to get a Maryland driver's license. The tutorial was built as a custom module for the MVA's Website, which runs on SiteExecutive[TM], Systems Alliance's Web content management software.

Fashioned after the driver's law test exam, the online tutorial presents 20 randomly selected questions, each consisting of an illustration of a driving situation with multiple-choice answers. The test is offered in two formats: a 15-minute timed version, which simulates testing conditions or an un-timed version, which immediately denotes whether an answer is correct, and indicates where in the Maryland Driver's Handbook the correct answer can be found.

By developing the tutorial as a SiteExecutive module, MVA staff can manage and update the exam without additional programming or technical support. In addition to randomizing each exam and allowing users to pick the timed or un-timed version, the tutorial module leverages SiteExecutive content management functions so test administrators can add or remove images and questions as often as necessary to meet MVA guidelines. Likewise, administrators can also create and manage versions of the exam in multiple languages if they so choose.
