Companies Extend Relationship to Close the Gap between Strategy and Operations for Clients
ORLANDO, Fla. -- IDS Scheer, the leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), today announced at ARIS ProcessWorld 2008 Americas that its partnership with Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (NYSE: "SAY"), a leading global business and information technology services company, is being extended to drive more strategic usage of the ARIS platform. Both companies are collaborating on executive education workshops, as well as business solutions that model, monitor and manage business processes and operations.
"Satyam has built one of the most complete business process transformation practices in the industry," said Charles Doucot, Senior Vice President for IDS Scheer in the Americas. "This elevation and expansion of our relationship will leverage our collective expertise to drive strategic value into process-centric operations."
Satyam has differentiated its services by using the ARIS Platform for many of its business performance projects. In just one year since announcing the partnership, Satyam has deployed ARIS for global clients in Manufacturing, Retail and Consumer industries. Satyam is also successfully using ARIS solutions for its internal business improvement initiatives.
"We are truly committed to IDS Scheer and building customer value with ARIS solutions through our various customer-facing units. IDS Scheer continues to be a key strategic partner for Satyam, as demonstrated by our strong and growing team of consultants trained on various ARIS solutions to help customers derive benefits from their implementations," said Michael Melenovsky, Vice President BPM Consulting for Satyam. "In line with the Process World theme 'Improve Business Performance,' we believe the continuous monitoring and improvement of processes that drive operations will enable organizations to realize strategic gains in their businesses."
The Executive workshop series creates a foundation for assessing the business-to-operational strategy gap, and a base of knowledge for the executive to assess possible strategic impacts of process-centric solutions. The workshops are now open for enrollment by contacting Satyam or IDS Scheer.
"Organizations that build excellence into operations and back them up with supporting processes can ultimately reap the rewards of share price increases and improved top line growth - this is the essence of Improved Business Performance," added Mr. Doucot.
