Business Wire, Feb 13, 2008
LexisNexis Solutions are Winners or Finalists in 13 of 14 Categories
NEW YORK -- LexisNexis([R]) Practice Management and Litigation Solutions offerings won multiple honors at the fifth annual Law Technology News Technology Awards, held February 5 at the LegalTech([R]) New York trade show and conference. The awards, voted on by readers of Law Technology News, recognize superior products and services across multiple categories. LexisNexis was a finalist in 13 of 14 categories, taking home five awards.
For the fifth consecutive year, Time Matters([R]), which powers the set of LexisNexis Front Office capabilities, has earned recognition, winning the categories of "Case/Practice Management for Small and Mid-size Firms" and "Docket & Calendaring."
CaseMap([R]) case analysis software won in the categories of "Knowledge Management System" and "Case/Practice Management Software for Large Firms." The LexisNexis Case Assessment and Analysis Consulting group also won the "Litigation Support Consultant" category.
"Each of these awards individually underscore that legal professionals believe LexisNexis provides them the solutions or expertise they need in specific areas of practice," said Ellen Campbell-Kaminski, vice president of marketing for LexisNexis. "Taken together, however, the awards demonstrate the even greater point that LexisNexis offers the legal community a continuum of Total Practice Solutions to help them manage the overall business and practice of law."
In addition, LexisNexis supported the nomination of The Wills for Heroes([R]) Foundation, which won "Most Innovative use of Technology for a Pro Bono Project." Founded by an attorney who was inspired by the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Wills for Heroes has provided more than 7,000 free wills to police and fire personnel in ten states using HotDocs([R]) document automation software donated by LexisNexis.
Law Technology News, a leading legal technology publication, is published by American Lawyer Media, which also produces the LegalTech trade show and conference.
