Business Wire, Feb 19, 2008

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP) will showcase its secure, reliable, and cost-effective data management solutions for healthcare customers at HIMSS 2008. At the NetApp booth, attendees will learn how healthcare providers around the world rely on NetApp[R] proven data management solutions for picture archive computer systems (PACS), electronic medical records (EMR), compliance, and data protection and how NetApp high-performance systems help customers have the right information at the right place at the right time. HIMSS takes place February 24-28, 2008, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Healthcare organizations are increasingly seeking secure, flexible, and efficient solutions to help manage the explosive growth of files from image-intensive applications such as PACS and EMR. In addition, strict regulatory requirements have added to the challenge of securely storing patient medical records for more than a patient's lifetime. The annual HIMSS conference is recognized as one of the world's largest and most respected healthcare IT exhibitions. Last year, HIMSS07 attracted nearly 900 of the world's most innovative healthcare IT vendors to showcase their most innovative products and services.
