Parson Consulting and CBH Join Forces
Business Wire, Feb 19, 2008
CHICAGO & IRVINE, Calif. -- Parson Consulting, a leading financial management consultancy and CBH Consulting, a leading provider of performance management solutions, announced today that they will merge to form an integrated finance and performance management consultancy. The new company, which will operate with the Parson brand in North America, will be led by Joe Baird, former CEO of CBH. This announcement follows the September, 2007 acquisition of CBH by Management Consulting Group PLC, the London-based holding organization, of which Parson is also a subsidiary.
"The combination of Parson's strong experience in financial and operational process excellence, with CBH's award winning performance management delivery, means that we will be able to help our clients manage the complete spectrum of performance, affecting not just technology, but also people and processes. This significantly expands our joint capabilities and creates greater value for our clients," said Joe Baird, President of Parson North America. "By formally combining our teams, we are now in a better position to develop a platform for growth and leverage our complementary expertise and delivery channels."
The new organization will develop a set of integrated offerings that will focus on performance management with linkage to strategy execution, finance process optimization and operational alignment. Collectively, the merged organization draws its expertise from hundreds of projects and decades of experience in the financial and performance management sectors.
Baird continued, "CBH and Parson share a common vision of partnering with clients to execute strategies that help them achieve high performance. Parson and CBH customers will continue to enjoy the superior service that they are accustomed to, while also benefiting from expanded resources, additional skill sets and the application of complementary methodologies to further improve performance."
