Entertainment and New Media Veteran Stephanie Quay Joins meebo

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- meebo, the Web's live interaction platform, today announced that Stephanie Quay has joined the company as Director of Business Development, focusing her efforts on expanding and growing the company's entertainment partnerships. Quay has spent the past 12 years in the entertainment industry garnering both above and below-the-line credits.

meebo continues to rapidly attract senior leaders with deep industry experience. Chris Szeto recently joined the company as Senior Director of Product after resigning a leadership position on the Yahoo! Messenger team.

Quay was the Site Director at TV.com, where she took the brand from inception to the leading independent television online community and information resource for today's passionate TV fan. There, Quay spearheaded all of the industry relations, partnerships and business development, as well as content creation & acquisition for the brand.

Seeing a need for new distribution outlets for independent films and television programming and the future convergence between content and technology, Quay focused her earlier ambitions on starting the IP-based Video-on-Demand company, Broadline Media Corp. where she served as CEO until May of 2005.
