State of Delaware Selects IRMS for Public Health Preparedness and Emergency Response

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. -- Integrated Warehousing Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of supply chain execution solutions, announced today that the Delaware Division of Public Health has selected the IRMS Warehouse Management System (IRMS) and the IRMS Mobile Emergency Response System ("Go-Kit") for its public health preparedness system.
The mission of the Delaware Division of Public Health is to protect and enhance the health of the people of Delaware (population about 800,000), including, in part, through public health preparedness.
With strategic partner, ESi Acquisition, Inc., Integrated Warehousing Solutions will provide the state with a total Web-enabled solution for emergency management, inventory/resource management and patient tracking, using IRMS and Go-Kit solutions along with ESi's WebEOC crisis
information management software.
Delaware will deploy IRMS and wireless technology for real-time inventory, resource and capital assets management in support of logistics operations to facilitate emergency response. The IRMS Go-Kit will additionally provide the state with automated processing and apportionment of emergency medical supplies and equipment from the Strategic National Stockpile along with patient registration, assessment, treatment and tracking at points of dispensing, as well as fatality management.
In cooperation with the Towson University Center for Geographic Information Services in Baltimore, Maryland, the Emergency Management Mapping Application, or EMMA, framework is additionally being developed to provide emergency response-oriented GIS capabilities and data interoperability for a common operating picture and seamless information sharing. The GIS is ESRI's ArcIMS.
