Morphic Technologies: Orders in the Field of Hydroelectric Power

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Morphic's (STO:MORPB) subsidiary Finshyttan Hydro Power AB has received an order from GE Energy regarding renovation of hydraulic turbines at Gulsele Power Station.

The order is for machining work in connection with renovation of one of the three turbines at Gulsele Power Station. The power station is owned by E.ON and is supplied with water from the river Angermanalven. The turbine to be renovated is a Kaplan model with a maximum power output of 64 MW. Delivery will be in July 2008. Gulsele Power Station was built in 1956, and the turbines were supplied by Karlstads Mekaniska Verkstad. The drop height is about 29 metres and the normal annual production from all three turbines is 315 GWh.
