Interactive Intelligence Awarded Best Large Enterprise Solution at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO
Business Wire, Feb 25, 2008
INDIANAPOLIS -- Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq: ININ), a global provider of unified IP business communications solutions, was awarded Best Large Enterprise Solution at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2008.
INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine editors honored the company for its all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center([R]) (CIC), based on the product's broad feature-set, ability to work with existing standards, and its impact on the Internet telephony industry, according to Rich Tehrani, conference chairman and president of TMC, publisher of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
"We selected Interactive Intelligence for our Best of Show award because CIC offers a single, highly scalable platform that helps large enterprises reduce costs by minimizing the number of systems required to purchase, integrate and manage," Tehrani said. "CIC's broad set of contact center agent and business user applications, along with its ease-of-interoperability from open standards such as SIP, also make it ideal for complex and heterogeneous infrastructures typically found within large enterprises."
The INTERNET TELEPHONY Best of Show awards were given across 11 different categories, with 34 winners selected from among a total of more than 150 exhibitors. Best of Show award winners were selected by magazine editors based on the most impressive new products or new releases demonstrated on the show floor.
Interactive Intelligence demonstrated its latest CIC release, version 3.0, as an exhibitor at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East, which was held last month in Miami, Florida.
"We're very thankful to have received INTERNET TELEPHONY's Best Large Enterprise Solution award, because it acknowledges the focus we've put on our largest enterprise customers over the last few years," said Interactive Intelligence senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Joseph A. Staples. "We specifically upgraded CIC 3.0 to address their key concerns, which include enhanced security features and simplified deployment."
Interactive Intelligence first released CIC in 1997 as a standards-based, all-in-one IP communications software suite designed to eliminate the cost and complexity introduced by multi-point vendors. CIC provides multi-channel contact center automation and enterprise IP telephony functionality for mid-size to large customer-focused and interaction-intense organizations.
