Hospital investment in Misys MyWay for Communities will help drive EMR adoption among community physician practices

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Misys Healthcare Systems, a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced Misys MyWay[TM] for Communities, an integrated solution intended for hospitals to donate to affiliated and community medical practices. The physician-friendly Misys MyWay for Communities is designed to interoperate with partner hospitals, allowing physicians to share lab orders and results. The Stark Law exception and Anti-Kickback Safe Harbor have made it permissible for hospitals to donate interoperable EMR software to physician offices.
