Web Conferencing and Collaboration Enables Bouygues Subsidiary, Structis, to Increase Efficiency and Reduce Costs
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. -- Saba Software (NASDAQ:SABA), the premier people management software and services provider, today announced that Bouygues Construction, a world leader in building, civil engineering, electrical contracting and maintenance, is using Saba Centra and Jet Multimedia hosting services to deliver online meetings and training for its subsidiary, Structis. By implementing an easy-to-use, robust Web conferencing and e-learning platform, Structis has been able to conduct more effective meetings--reducing training and meeting related travel costs.
Bouygues Construction operates in 60 countries and its subsidiary, Structis, has more than 43,000 employees. Structis originally selected Saba Centra and Jet Multimedia to bring its sales and support teams from different locations together for real-time, online meetings. Saba Centra features--including instant surveys, application sharing, text chat and video--enable Structis to deliver high-quality, interactive meetings that help them to reduce travel costs as well as time out of the office for employees.

For example, a Structis partner and Bouygues IT subsidiary, C2S, uses Saba Centra to train 50-60 Structis employees in four locations on business software. Saba Centra also provides Structis with a secure solution where communications are encrypted and all meetings and recordings are password protected.
