Business Wire, Feb 7, 2008

MATTHEWS, N.C. -- PokerTek, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEK), the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, is pleased to announce that the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) has issued a temporary supplier license to PokerTek, Inc. In addition to the supplier license, the IGC has also approved the PokerPro System for field trail for all eleven Riverboat Casinos in Indiana. This temporary license and product field trial is the result of a year-long process that included extensive investigation and evaluation of both PokerTek and its PokerPro([R]) product.

"We have already had the opportunity to introduce PokerPro[R] to Indiana poker players who've played at our tables in neighboring states," said Chris Halligan, PokerTek CEO. "The reviews we've received in this region have been phenomenal, and we look forward to expanding into this market."
