Port City Java announces its same unit Corporate Cafe sales increased 4.4% in December 2007 over the same period in 2006. Overall, Corporate sales increased 16.94% in December 2007 over the same period in 2006. Management is pleased with the sales results for the company and feels the momentum will carry forward into the first quarter of 2008. The company continues to concentrate on its store level economics and execution. The expanded Breakfast Wrap and Sandwich Program implemented in the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2007 continues to drive sales increases. Management feels the new hand-held products are well suited to guests' mobile lifestyles and time constraints. The company continues its consistent execution of the its LAM (Local Area Marketing) which it believes is driving additional guests into the cafes, and the execution of its Core Basic Operations are helping to retain guests and create repeat visits.

New Cafe opens at North Carolina State University:

Port City Java is pleased to announce it has opened a new cafe at North Carolina State University. The new cafe is located at the new Engineering II located on the Centennial Campus. This is the third Port City Java to open at North Carolina State University and the sixth Port City Java to open in the Raleigh, Cary, and Durham market.
