Business Wire, Jan 14, 2008
Winners to Be Honored at a Gala Awards Luncheon on January 25, 2008
AUSTIN, Texas -- Crossroads Systems, Inc. (PINK SHEETS:CRDS), a global leading provider of appliance-based data protection solutions, announced today that it was named one of the "Best Companies to Work for in Texas by the Texas Association of Business (TAB)," the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (TSC-SHRM) and the Best Companies Group.
"We are proud to be recognized as a key employer in Texas," said Rob Sims, President and CEO of Crossroads Systems. "Crossroads continually aims to find and retain leading high-technology specialists. We pride ourselves in creating the type of environment where employees can develop leading solutions and enjoy extensive benefits."
Out of thousands of candidates, the 2008 Best Companies to Work for in Texas' annual awards were appointed to 75 finalists. The 2008 finalists are split into three categories: 20 small companies (25-74 employees), 25 medium companies (75-249 employees) and 30 large companies (250 and more employees). Crossroads Systems has been named one of this year's Best Companies to Work for in Texas in the medium companies category.
A two-part submission determined the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. First, each company was evaluated for workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. Secondly, employee surveys measured the employee experience. Combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Texas with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.
Actual rankings will be published in a special advertorial section in the February 2008 issue of Texas Monthly, and the ranked companies will be recognized at a gala awards luncheon on January 25 at the Renaissance in Austin.
