GM Announced as Platinum Sponsor for Third Consecutive Year, as Registration Opens and Enhanced Site Launches to Provide Centralized Resource for Attendees, Speakers and Sponsors
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- BlogHer, Inc. (www.blogher.com), one of the top women's online networks and the Web's number-one guide to blogs by women, today announced the launch of its 2008 conference Web site. In addition to the site featuring information about all eight of BlogHer's 2008 conferences, participants can now register for the first two events of the year - BlogHer Business (April 3-4 in New York) and BlogHer '08 (July 18-20 in San Francisco.) Additionally, BlogHer welcomes General Motors (GM), as a returning Platinum Sponsor of BlogHer '08 and the October Reach Out Tour.
The new site (http://www.blogher.com/blogher_conference/conf/) will provide a single centralized location to get information on all BlogHer events - BlogHer Business '08, BlogHer '08 and the Reach Out Tour - including logistics, speaker and scheduling information, sponsors and information on how every BlogHer member can participate in the events.
"Since our first conference in 2005, the BlogHer annual conference has more than tripled in size, creating a real need to expand the number, size, quality and locations of our events to meet the demands of our community," said Elisa Camahort Page, co-founder and COO of BlogHer. "With the addition of the Reach Out Tour in 2008, as well as the return of the BlogHer annual conference and BlogHer Business, we look forward to hosting another year of sold-out events in areas all across the country."
BlogHer welcomes GM as a Platinum Sponsor for the third year in a row, and it will be helping the company develop innovative ways to engage and create experiences for attendees, all while helping support a greener BlogHer.
"We are excited to once again welcome GM as a top-level sponsor for our 2008 conferences, along with other confirmed sponsors including Intuit, Care.com and PBS," said Jory Des Jardins, BlogHer co-founder and president of strategic alliances. "We've had great success working with companies in the past to provide attendees with unique and memorable experiences at our events, and we look forward to continually developing innovative and customized opportunities for sponsors to reach our members. Return sponsors like GM are a testament to the value that BlogHer's events offer to attendees and sponsors alike."
Registration is now open for both BlogHer Business and BlogHer '08, with special early bird pricing available for the BlogHer Business until February 15, and BlogHer '08 until February 28. For a snapshot description of each conference, please visit: http://www.blogher.com/blogher_conference/conf/.
