Telemedicus Appoints Medical Technology Advisory Board Member

HOUSTON -- Telemedicus, Inc. (OTC:TMDI), announced it has appointed David W. Mueller, CEO of Clear Vascular, Inc., to the Medical Technology Advisory Board.

"David brings a strong technical background in life sciences, especially in the areas of product development, technology transfer and venture capital, including pricing, leading and follow-up financing of venture backed companies," said Thomas Cloud, CEO Telemedicus, Inc. He added, "David Mueller has been an Interim CEO/COO/ Advisor in 16 startups over the past 23 years, and he served as director on 15 startups and one public company."

David Mueller was managing general partner/special limited partner of AM Fund, a partnership between a traditional venture fund and the Texas A&M University System. At Vanguard Ventures, he served as venture partner and as initial CEO/COO on six of Vanguard's portfolio companies.

Mr. Mueller has been General Manager of BCM Technologies, Inc., where he was responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic development for the technology transfer arm of Baylor College of Medicine. He was Manager of Technology Assessment and Director of Instrument Product Development at Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT). Finally, he has served high level management positions at Beckman Instruments, Tracor, Inc. and Texas A&M University Nuclear Science Center, and he was a member of the technical staff at Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN).

Mr. Mueller graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science and earned a Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry.

The Advisory Board's objective is to evaluate new technology projects that fit within Telemedicus' development as well as identify new markets or opportunities for the Telemedicus technology. Their objectives also include attracting private funding or investments through venture capital fund managers.
