Tim Cantrell Joins Aydin Displays as VP of Business Development and Global Strategies

ATLANTA -- Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE) -- Aydin Displays Inc., a Video Display Corporation company, is pleased to announce that Timothy Cantrell has joined the company as Aydin's new Vice President of Business Development and Global Strategies. Tim will report directly to Aydin Displays' President, Arthur Mengel.

In his new role, Tim will be responsible for growing the company's business while strengthening and enhancing customer support programs. He will also be developing key strategic alliances within the specialized display industry.

Tim brings with him particularly extensive experience and knowledge in the field of specialized military and air traffic control (ATC) displays and display systems.

Prior to joining Aydin, he held key management positions at Barco Federal Systems, BarcoView, and Avionic Displays Corporation (ADC).
