Crimson Consulting Group Names Steven Lamont an Engagement Partner

LOS ALTOS, Calif. -- Crimson Consulting Group, a marketing strategy and implementation consulting firm, announced today that marketing professional Steven Lamont has become an engagement partner for the firm.
Steven Lamont is a former partner at Accenture and former McKinsey consultant with a 28-year track record of consulting and senior management experience in the telecommunications, high technology, retailing and transportation industries. He has led efforts to grow companies and new products in a wide variety of business conditions including identifying new acquisitions, developing and executing bold strategies, defining and developing new products and services, and implementing new channels and promotions to drive profitable growth.
Prior to becoming an engagement partner with Crimson, Lamont was senior vice president of marketing and sales for NextWave Broadband of Henderson, NV. Before that, he held a variety of senior roles over an 11-year period at Accenture in San Francisco. As an Accenture partner and in other leadership positions at the firm, he led major projects for a wide variety of telecommunications and high technology clients throughout the world. Prior to Accenture, Steven was corporate director of marketing and CMO for McCaw Cellular Communications of Kirkland, WA where he was responsible for national marketing strategies and field marketing. Before that, he was vice president of passenger marketing for Vancouver, Canada-based Canadian Pacific Air Lines. Steven began his career at McKinsey and Company where he consulted to senior management in a broad range of international companies on strategy, operations efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
