Transwestern Named One of the Best Companies to Work for by Texas Monthly for Second Year

HOUSTON -- Transwestern today announced that for the second year in a row, the firm has been named in Texas Monthly's Best Companies to Work for in Texas. The annual program was created by the publishers of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (TSC-SHRM), and Best Companies Group.

This survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Texas, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. Transwestern is among seventy-five Texas companies being recognized in 2008.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Texas with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
