Interactive Intelligence Receives ISO 9001:2000 Re-Certification
Business Wire, Jan 29, 2008
INDIANAPOLIS -- Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq: ININ), a global provider of unified IP business communications solutions, has been re-certified to ISO 9001:2000, marking its third consecutive year of compliance.
The company's management system at its world headquarters in Indianapolis was certified last month for the delivery of its innovative all-in-one communications software suite, and its consulting, support, education and implementation services.
The ISO 9001:2000 standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization, is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement of business-to-business interactions. The ISO 9001:2000 standard provides a tried and tested framework for taking a systematic approach to managing an organization's processes so that it consistently turns out products and services that satisfy customer expectations.
"Being certified to ISO 9001:2000 gives further assurance to customers and partners that we are able to satisfy their most stringent quality, reliability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness requirements," said Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO, Dr. Donald E. Brown. "Particularly for large enterprises, as well as those representing regulatory-driven industries, such as government, financial services and healthcare, our certification gives these customers added assurance that we can meet their highest standards."
Interactive Intelligence first achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in December 2004 by completing a registration audit conducted by QMI, the largest management system registrar in North America. To maintain certification, the company has undergone semi-annual audits, and in December 2007, underwent a full audit to achieve its three-year ISO 9001:2000 certificate of registration, now good through Dec. 13, 2010.
"With benefits that include quicker time to market, greater market share, increased operational efficiencies, more consistent product quality, and improved customer satisfaction, the ISO 9001:2000 certification gives Interactive Intelligence a critical competitive advantage," said QMI account representative, Connie Massara.
