SmartMusic subscribers exceed 86,000; software featured on NBC's Today Show
MINNEAPOLIS -- MakeMusic, Inc. (Nasdaq: MMUS) today announced monthly subscription results for SmartMusic([R]), the music learning software for band, orchestra and choir. SmartMusic subscriptions as of December month-end numbered 86,901, representing a net gain of 1,569 over the previous month.
SmartMusic Impact([TM]), the web-based student grading and records management system included with SmartMusic, also showed growth. Impact teachers (those having issued assignments to 50 or more students) reached 357 at the end of December, compared with 337 at the end of November.
The number of SmartMusic Educator accounts reached 7,641, compared to 7,473 at the end of November, an increase of 168 accounts.
