BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- The Beverly Hilton was honored with a Mobil Four-Star Award by Mobil Travel Guide, the originators of the prestigious star rating system and providers of one of the most comprehensive evaluation system of hotels, restaurants and spas in the world. The Beverly Hilton's rating earned it a place on Mobil Travel Guide's list of the top priorities in the United States and Canada for 2008. This is a milestone year for Mobil Travel Guide, as they celebrate 50 years as the most trusted source in travel ratings and expert reviews, helping to define excellence and quality in the travel industry. Since 1958, the Mobil Travel Guide's ratings process has been based on more than 750 standardized criteria for hotels, more than 250 for restaurants, and more recently 450 different criteria for spas, making it the most rigorous and comprehensive in the industry.
