Headset With Award-Winning Linx Audio[TM] Sound Quality To Be Featured at Las Vegas Show January 7-10, 2008
LAS VEGAS -- Sands Convention Center Booth #71435 -- Able Planet, the company founded on the principle of hearing preservation, enhancement and superior sound performance, today announced that the company's Clear Voice VoIP Headset will be showcased at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The headset, along with the company's Telecom CV300T headset, was selected as an Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Award winner in the Telephone product category. The awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), and recognize the most innovative consumer electronics products in the industry's hottest product categories.
"We are excited to showcase the outstanding qualities of the Clear Voice VoIP Headset in Las Vegas," said Kevin Semcken, President and CEO of Able Planet. "Sharing the news about this award-winning product with the international consumer electronics community is certainly one of the highlights of the show for Able Planet."
The Clear Voice VoIP Headset combines patent-pending Linx Audio and state-of-the-art active noise canceling technology. Linx Audio is manufactured with commercially-available magnetostrictive components and copper magnet wire, and is embedded in line with a high performance Linx Speaker[TM]. This enables the Headset to deliver enhanced sound quality and clarity that's made possible by creating harmonics that are not masked by low frequency sounds, filtering undesirable frequencies or noise, and soft clipping distortion. In addition, the enhanced audio signal delivered by the Clear Voice VoIP Headset increases the perception of loudness without increasing the volume, enabling listeners to achieve full, rich sound at lower volumes, helping people to "Turn It Down[TM]" to preserve hearing.
