Top Real Estate Publisher Joins Zillow[R] Listings Feed Program;
Expands Online Distribution for Advertisers
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. & SEATTLE -- Network Communications, Inc. (NCI), the leading publisher of printed and online real estate information in North America, and leading Real Estate Web site Zillow.com([R]) today announced NCI will join the Zillow[R] Listings Feed program to feed 500,000 of its residential listings to Zillow.com daily. This agreement will deliver to NCI advertisers additional marketing exposure through the Zillow.com site, which is visited by approximately four million people every month.
"NCI is continually looking to expand the opportunity for consumers to interact with our advertiser's listings when they are shopping for a home," says Cy Caine, vice president strategy and business development, Network Communications, Inc. "As one of the most visited real estate sites on the Web, Zillow.com allows us to offer our advertisers exposure to millions of additional consumers while enhancing the search experience for homebuyers."
In the coming months, a half million for-sale property listings from the top NCI real estate brands -- The Real Estate Book, the #1 real estate publication in the country, New Home Finder, New Home Journal, New Homes & Ideas and Unique Homes - will be dynamically uploaded to Zillow on a daily basis. When a home shopper requests more information on an NCI property listing on Zillow.com, their inquiry will be directed back to NCI's advertiser.
"Zillow is excited be working with NCI to help their advertisers gain additional exposure for their listings while enhancing the experience for visitors to Zillow by providing such an extensive and diverse list of for-sale homes," said Jorrit Van der Meulen, Zillow vice president of partner relations.
Zillow.com joins NCI's growing network of online distribution partners which delivers more than 50 million unique visitors monthly. Partner sites include Condo.com, AreaGuides.net, ATT.net, BobVila.com, Google Base, HomeGain, HouseLocator.com, Homescape.com, MSN Sympatico, NYTimes/Real Estate, Oodle.com, RealtyTrac.com, Trulia.com, Unique Global Estates, Wall Street Journal and Yahoo.com.
Zillow Listings Feeds allow brokerages and other listing publishers to post for-sale listings directly to the site in a bulk feed, giving the homes a virtual for-sale sign for free on Zillow.com. For enhanced exposure, individual agents can create a free profile page with photos, contact information and more details about the individual agent, linked directly from each listing.
