Valley Forge Composite Technologies, Inc. Next-Generation Personnel Screening Technology Prepared for Demonstration
Business Wire, Jan 9, 2008
COVINGTON, Ky. -- Valley Forge Composite Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: VLYF) announced today that the first United States model of its personnel screening system is on-site and is being prepared for demonstration. ODIN-ULDRIS Personnel Screening System is being offered by Valley Forge subsidiary Valley Forge Imaging, Inc. as the answer to today's personnel screening concerns. This system may be used in any market requiring personnel screening such as schools, government buildings, sporting events and passenger terminals. It allows screeners to detect items such as explosives, weapons, narcotics, gemstones, bundled currency and ingested items at a rate of approximately 700 persons per hour. Unlike current backscatter x-ray systems, ODIN-ULDRIS requires only one scan per person and detects metallic and non-metallic contraband. The ODIN-ULDRIS system does not require persons to remove shoes, coats or personal belongings before entering the screening panel. Demonstrations will initially be scheduled for federal and local law enforcement agencies. Other prospects include homeland security, port security, public transportation sectors, military and medical communities.
