datAvail Expands Database Administration Team with New Hires

Database Management Company Taps Top Talent for Client Service Team
DENVER -- datAvail, a managed service company that provides database management and administration for database platforms, has hired three senior database administration professionals. These new additions to the company bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the datAvail client service team, promising continued satisfaction and fulfillment of its customers' database needs.

John Kaufling, as the appointed Oracle applications director, will oversee support of the Oracle eBusiness Suite systems. With more than 12 years of experience as an Oracle applications database administrator with both Level 3 Communications and Oracle Corp, his specialties include implementation, upgrade and support of Oracle eBusiness Suite products. At datAvail, Kaufling's experience and skill will be accessible to all clients as he guides the set up and maintenance of Oracle eBusiness Suite systems.
Patrick Gates joins datAvail as director of Oracle database services. He will focus on refining and supporting further growth for datAvail's Oracle database services, as well as providing additional ownership, accountability, and commitment to customer satisfaction. A former senior architect and senior manager at Level 3 Communications, where he was an administrator at the corporate data warehouse, Gates brings 12 years of valuable experience in database architecture and administration to datAvail.
Prakash Bhandari, datAvail's new senior technology director, will be responsible for implementation and continued development of database monitoring tools, including the advanced Data Palette platform. Bhandari was formerly an information technology manager at Corporate Express, an international business supply company. A beneficial addition to the datAvail team, he brings 11 years of experience creating architecture and infrastructure solutions and is an expert in The Open Group Architecture Framework.
