BzzAgent Guarantees Word of Mouth Will Outperform Other Media by 20%

"Word of Mouth Impact Guarantee" Focuses on Awareness, Opinion, Purchase Intent, Sales

BOSTON -- Underscoring its confidence in word of mouth (WOM) as the advertising industry's most effective medium, BzzAgent, Inc. today announced the market's first "WOM Impact Guarantee" program. The initiative ensures that WOM will outperform by 20 percent or more any other advertising medium across four key metrics - brand awareness, consumer opinion, purchase intent and actual sales - or BzzAgent will refund the brand's WOM and measurement costs.

The Guarantee is open to all brand marketers and their agency partners. All measurement will be provided by InsightExpress, a leading digital marketing research firm and the measurement services provider for the Forbes.com Brand Advertising Effectiveness Guarantee. Details on how BzzAgent's Guarantee works include:

* Requires a minimum investment of $300,000 in WOM media and challenged media (e.g., television, print, radio, interactive);

* BzzAgent refunds total cash expenditure for the WOM program and measurement services should the average difference between the challenged media and WOM across the above four metrics fail to favor WOM by 20 percent or more;

* Applies to campaigns run in the US only.
