Options Multimedia Opens Its Doors to the Online World

Startup Offers State-of-the-Art Video Messenger, eLearning, Custom Video Testimonials and Digital Publication Services

LITTLETON, Colo. -- Options Multimedia, a new innovative business founded by entrepreneur Steve Stone, is taking Internet technology to the next level by offering a lineup of online products targeted at enhancing Web sites without requiring a change in design or an overhaul of infrastructure.

Among its products, the company offers a Video Messenger service that can overlay any Web page with either a transparent background or customized background. Each video features a message tailored to a Web site's needs - usually scripted and delivered by a company representative or a hired actor. Although not the typical online video service, the messenger product offers a more "human" approach - literally.

"Our video messenger service feeds the appetite consumers have for interesting Web video while maintaining a connection with the content source," Stone explains. "We are a visual society. People decide within the first few seconds if they have a good or bad impression about a business or individual. A good video can make that first impression great and that usually leads to sales. Of the 80% of viewers who had watched an online video ad, just over half had taken some sort of action."

According to Netcraft, an Internet monitoring company tracking Web growth, there are more than 172 million Web sites with domain names and content (data as of June 2008).

"A majority of those Web sites cannot afford enhancements and overhauls that could cost tens of thousands of dollars," Stone added. "We make it affordable and attainable - essentially giving a Web site the professional appearance it deserves and a unique upgrade that will last."

In addition to video, Options Multimedia offers a Digital Pages product that will change the way consumers read online magazines, newsletters, brochures, and more. Instead of using PDF software, the company has harnessed the combined powers of JavaScript and Flash to develop a seamless approach to digital content.

"It's as if you're reading a real magazine online: the pages flip back and forth and there's no scrolling through content," Stone said. "With our Digital Pages product, you can perform word searches within the document, look at all pages as thumbnails, choose which pages to print, and click on interactive ads. It's the perfect way to 'go green,' save trees and money."

Options Multimedia also offers eLearning and Testimonials products that incorporate video and the interactive interface the company has cornerstoned.

"Techniques to enhance Web sites are improving all the time," Stone said. "We stay sharp on the latest technologies and constantly search for new ways to support and improve our products and services. Because we are confident in our skills, we are very open to new ideas. We are willing to try new things and push the boundaries."
