Covidien Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Covidien Ltd. (NYSE: COV; BSX: COV) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.16 per common share. The dividend is payable on August 11, 2008, to shareholders of record on July 28, 2008.
