Mtelligence Selected as Wonderware Endorsed Software Partner
Business Wire, July 16, 2008
Mtelligence Technology Connects Wonderware System Platform to EAM/CMMS Systems, Switching on Their Condition Based Monitoring Solution, Powered by Mtelligence MIMOSA Interop Server
SAN DIEGO -- Mtelligence Corporation, a leading provider of maintenance intelligence solutions that link plant and business, today announced the company achieved "Endorsed Software Partner" status with Wonderware as part of the new Wonderware Innovation Partner Program. Mtelligence's flagship product, MIMOSA Interop Server (MIS), allows Wonderware customers to seamlessly integrate plant floor systems with the leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Infor Datastream, AssetPoint Tabware and Indus EMPAC.
"Achieving Endorsed Software Partner status is enabling us to greatly extend our market awareness in the worldwide Wonderware sales channel and its 100,000 plant installed base," commented Paul Rahilly, CEO of Mtelligence. "With this partnership, we have accelerated and deepened our collaboration with Wonderware to help their customers improve asset performance by integrating the plant floor into maintenance management systems."
Mtelligence MIS helps manufacturers improve asset performance by predicting and preventing equipment failure, and enabling better communication between Operations and Maintenance staff. Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) enables a shift from reactive to proactive maintenance, providing maintenance planners with the tools they need to move beyond calendar and break-fix maintenance strategies, and giving operators visibility into maintenance from their HMI.
Tim Sowell, vice president of solutions and partner strategy for Wonderware commented, "Mtelligence and Wonderware have already proven the value of this combined solution with a number of our joint customers. As an Endorsed Solution offering, Wonderware and Mtelligence will continue to accelerate the depth of value of this condition based monitoring solution by making it ever easier to purchase, apply and support for Wonderware customers and system integrators."
Mtelligence technology is based on the OpenO&M[TM] Initiative (standards including MIMOSA, OPC, and ISA 95), providing a Service-Oriented Architecture foundation with 100% open standards messaging. OpenO&M Initiative standards ensure consistency across interfaces, protects customers from upgrade and migration risks that affect proprietary connectivity solutions, and allows customers to leverage existing investments in operations and maintenance infrastructure. Plug-and-play compatibility is a significant advantage in today's heterogeneous manufacturing environments and has propelled the rapid adoption of OpenO&M Initiative-based applications from manufacturers that want to achieve greater plant-to-business integration.
