Junior Olympics Field Hockey Player Brings Competitive Fire to Seattle Agency

SEATTLE -- Hydrogen Advertising has added Lauren Bernier to its account management team as account manager. The former right-wing forward of the U.S. Junior Olympics field hockey team will report to Cindy Dunbar, director of account management, and joins the agency teams supporting Microsoft and Precor.

Lauren hails from the Chicago area where she worked at RPM Advertising for four years. While at RPM, she was part of the team that launched a new branding effort for Horseshoe Casino Hammond, under the Harrah's Corporation blanket. The campaign elevated Horseshoe Casino into the #1 ranking for casinos in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana market.

"In addition to her intelligence and skills as an advertiser, Lauren brings a competitiveness that will energize the team and foster outstanding work," said Tom Scherer, executive creative director, Hydrogen Advertising.

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Iowa where she earned undergraduate degrees in communications and English. She broadened her communications knowledge, studying at the University of Newcastle in Newcastle, Australia, for a semester.
