"Boston's Best Lawyers" Guide from Incisive Media and Best Lawyers to Run This Sunday in The Boston Globe Magazine and Boston.com

Business Wire, July 24, 2008

NEW YORK -- Incisive Media, publisher of The American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel and the National Law Journal, and Best Lawyers, the nation's leading peer review publication in the legal profession, will publish the 2008 edition of "Boston's Best Lawyers" as a special marketing supplement in this Sunday's issue of The Boston Globe Magazine and as a searchable online guide on Boston.com. The reference resource will feature listings and profiles of the Boston metro area's top attorneys across a wide variety of practice areas, as selected by an extensive peer review survey conducted by The Best Lawyers in America.

In addition, Best Lawyers has named three individuals as 'Lawyers of the Year" in Boston, based on their particularly high level of peer recognition. They are Mark G. Borden, WilmerHale (Boston's Best Lawyers Corporate Lawyer of the Year); William J. Dailey, Jr, Sloane & Walsh (Boston's Best Lawyers Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year); and Joseph L. Kociubes, Bingham McCutchen (Boston's Best Lawyers Bet-the-Company Litigator of the Year.) All three will be profiled in a special feature in the Guide.

The section is produced by Incisive Media, publisher of more than 30 award-winning national and regional legal magazines and newspapers. The section's content will be based on the Boston listings in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Best Lawyers lists are created through almost 2 million confidential evaluations and thousands of telephone interviews with leading attorneys across the nation. Because lawyers must be selected by their peers for inclusion, Best Lawyers has been regarded - by both the legal profession and the public - as the leader in integrity and reliability for lawyer ratings since 1983. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."

"Boston area residents and business people seeking information and guidance in selecting an attorney will now have a new and authoritative print and online resource to turn to," said Jack Berkowitz, senior vice president - Legal, Incisive Media. "This effort with Best Lawyers ensures that a comprehensive reference is available to the broadest possible cross-section of savvy consumers throughout the region."

Steven Naifeh, managing editor of Best Lawyers and Pulitzer Prize winner said, "We are very pleased to be working with Incisive to make the results of our most recent poll of Boston area lawyers available online and to the readers of The Boston Globe Magazine."
