MarkMonitor Chief Marketing Officer Frederick Felman to Speak at eTail East 2008

SAN FRANCISCO -- MarkMonitor[R], the global leader in enterprise brand protection, announced that Frederick Felman, chief marketing officer, will serve as chairperson for the second day of eTail East 2008 and will moderate an executive panel on improving customer experience through online engagement. eTail East 2008 will focus on key challenges that eTailers face including improving the customer experience, increasing customer engagement through blogs and customer reviews, gauging the impact of mobile marketing, examining holiday preparedness and delivering time-sensitive value.
As chairperson, Felman will open the day's sessions with remarks to the general audience and will later moderate a panel for chief marketing officers and senior executives titled "Linking Site Usability Improvements & Customer Engagement Activities to Drive Improvements in the Customer Experience." Panelists will discuss combining technology and operations to evaluate and improve the shopping experience, determining factors of usability that directly or indirectly affect the customer experience, understanding and ranking feedback to determine future priorities, utilizing multivariate scenarios to test Web site functionality and identify underperforming areas and evaluating new ideas to keep the customer experience fun and fresh. The panel consists of top-level executives from retail and e-commerce companies such as Borders Inc., LEGO and Overstock.com.
In addition, MarkMonitor will host a risk assessment clinic titled "Your Brand Online" in the exhibition hall.
