G&A Partners Expands Outside Texas — Opens Office in Chicago

HOUSTON -- G&A Partners, an integrated Houston-based Human Resource (HR) and administrative services company, announced today that it has opened a new office in Chicago, Illinois. The Chicago office, located 2522 N. Willetts Court, Suite 1S, Chicago Illinois, is the first G&A office outside of Texas and reflects the firm's new strategy to expand its service offering beyond state lines.

As a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) for more than a decade, G&A has taken on integral HR and administrative functions for small to medium sized businesses throughout Texas and served as co-employer to their employees so business owners can focus their time, talent and energy on growing their businesses. Now G&A is bringing its experience and expertise in human resources, employee benefits, payroll services, and risk management to Chicago and the State of Illinois.

Christina Grijalva and Jennifer Hickman, both regional managers, will oversee G&A's operations in Illinois. To avoid unnecessary redundancy, the Chicago office will be supported by G&A's state-of-the-industry systems and technology. G&A anticipates this approach to become a model that can be replicated in other cities or states where it makes sense.

Christina Grijalva has a degree in actuarial science form the University of Michigan and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She worked for three years at one of the preeminent HR firms in the world and was a manager of Revenue Management for United Airlines. Most recently Christina worked for a large insurance company where she was director of Business Line Management.

Jennifer Hickman has a degree in Human and Family Resource Studies from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from North Park University. Jennifer has gained extensive marketing experience. She worked for a large national retailer based in Chicago and held the position of marketing director for a number of different organizations, most notably, Director of E-Commerce at Nightingale-Conant Corporation. Prior to joining G&A, Jennifer was director of Business Line Strategy at a large insurance company.
