University of Tennessee and Big Orange Army Reach Settlement

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The University of Tennessee and Big Orange Army (BOA), a business operating under SportsMyx Holdings, LLC, today announced that as of June 24, 2008, they have resolved their disputes and settled the Civil Action that was pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Under the settlement, the BOA, as a licensee of the University of Tennessee, has permission to use the University's trademarks; however, the BOA is not now and never has been an official fan organization of the University.
