Rock 'n Roll Theme Park Consolidates POS Systems Through Elavon

ATLANTA & MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Elavon, formerly known as NOVA Information Systems, has announced a 3-year agreement to provide credit and debit card processing to Hard Rock Park, the world's first rock n' roll theme park - an innovative and distinct extension of the global Hard Rock brand.

The agreement provides processing for 80 different service points across Hard Rock Park, including parking, online and ticket window sales, restaurants and concessions, and gift shops. Located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Hard Rock Park opened to the public on May 9, 2008 processing all transactions across Elavon's end-to-end network.

"Hard Rock Park's all-inclusive business model requires end-to-end processing capabilities to manage multiple payment systems from the moment a guest arrives to the time they leave," said Shawn Levesque, SVP of Finance, Hard Rock Park. "Elavon is always on, operating seamless processing solutions behind the scenes and adding to our financial efficiency by enabling reliable, secure transactions across our enterprise."

"The hospitality and travel & entertainment (T&E) industries are especially complicated with regard to payments," said Stuart Harvey, Jr., CEO of Elavon. "We appreciate the opportunity to apply Elavon's knowledge of the T&E market to Hard Rock Park's unique operating needs and are excited to be part of The Park's contribution to rock-n-roll history."
