Electronic Evidence Discovery, Inc. Completes Purchase of Daticon, LLC

Business Wire,  July 8, 2008

Acquisition Substantially Expands EED's Northeast Regional Presence and Service Delivery Capabilities

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Electronic Evidence Discovery, Inc. (EED([R])), a leading national provider of eDiscovery services, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Daticon, LLC, a Connecticut-based provider of early case assessment, electronic discovery, consulting and archive services for major law firms, Fortune 500 corporations and government agencies. The acquisition strengthens EED's onsite services, consulting and project management expertise and expands its presence in the Northeastern United Sates.

EED announced a definitive agreement to acquire Daticon on June 5, 2008. The company pursued Daticon because of its experienced and skilled staff and established base of loyal corporate clients built by its strong track record of providing on-site eDiscovery services. Daticon's service offerings coupled with EED's market-leading Discovery Partner([R]) review and hosting platform and Discovery Process eXcellence (DPX) project management service will better serve the complete eDiscovery needs of large corporations and law firms.

"The acquisition of Daticon further strengthens EED's position as a well-resourced provider in the eDiscovery market," said Dave McCann, CEO of EED, Inc. "The breadth of our combined client base, the combination of our project consulting and project management teams and the larger R&D organization will enable EED to better service Fortune 500 Corporations and major law firms in the Northeast and across the United States."

As a result of the acquisition, EED now has local service capabilities in Seattle, London, Norwich, CT, and Los Angeles. EED will continue to offer convenient local evidence collection and rapid file conversion and processing under the Daticon brand for customers in the Northeast.
