Alchemy-Based Infinity miPC Multimedia Device Brings True "Mobile Computing" Performance and Capability on Windows CE 5.0 Embedded Platform with Superior Playback Results
CUPERTINO, Calif. -- RMI Corporation, a leading provider of High Performance Processor Solutions for Networking, Communications and Media Rich Applications, and Clearview Technology, Inc., a leading innovator of mobile computing devices, today announced that the miPC Infinity[TM], an innovative computing product bringing true "mobile computing" to the market, is powered by the RMI[R] Alchemy[TM] Au1250[TM] Processor, through its Windows CE 5.0 Pro embedded platform. RMI's highly integrated, feature-rich and power optimized Alchemy Processor enables up to 12 hours of playback time in a true mobile computing platform.
The miPC Infinity, recently announced by Clearview as the world's smallest and most versatile mobile internet PC, offers performance and capability not previously available in a mobile PC. Weighing approximately 310 grams (0.68 lb) and measuring 5.7 x 3.4 x 1.1 inches, the Infinity miPC is the size of a PDA with the power and features of a laptop with superior playback results of up to 12 hours. Clearview's innovative technology will allow a person to access applications anytime, anywhere -- whether it's the living room, the automobile, an airplane or the office.

Powered by the RMI Alchemy Au1250 Processor running at 600MHz, the Infinity miPC features the functionalities of a laptop, HPC, PPC, PDA and multimedia player, with digital video and picture recording capabilities integrated into a single compact device. In addition, through its WIFI B/G, Bluetooth, USB, and Serial connections, consumers can easily add peripherals such as GPS, keyboard, mouse, headset and a full-sized monitor, further extending the functionality and mobility of the miPC. The Infinity miPC offers consumers an enhanced mobile experience through a broad range of software applications: SoftMaker's Office 2008 offers advanced productivity and compatibility with Microsoft's Word, Excel and PowerPoint formats, Phatware's Calligrapher 8.5 delivers "self learning" handwriting recognition, CE Agenda provides a very efficient PIM (personal information manager), and the Opera 9.0 with embedded Flash Light 3 delivers a rich desktop-like browsing experience.

Pricing and Availability
The Infinity will be available second half of 2008 through select distribution partners and it will be priced at 599.00 USD for the base model and 749.00 USD for the GPS Navigation model.
