Highmark Selects Eliza Corporation as Exclusive Provider of Automated, Phone-Based Healthcare Communications

Expansion of Eliza's personalized, interactive approach will drive healthier behavior across a wider Highmark population

BEVERLY, Mass. -- Highmark announces the selection of Eliza Corporation as its exclusive provider of automated, phone-based healthcare communications. Eliza's call programs - backed by a patented speech recognition technology and sophisticated data analysis - will reach out to Highmark members with timely, personally relevant health and benefit information with the goal of enabling healthier behavior.

Since 2005, Eliza has reached out to Highmark members with preventive screening reminders (including screenings for breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, and osteoporosis); chronic condition management for members with diabetes, asthma, and hypertension; and information on topics such as glaucoma, flu shots, and Medicare Part D benefits for senior populations.
