-Solution to Fully Synchronize Microsoft([R]) Exchange([R]) Through Outlook([R]) to and from Gmail in the Cloud, with Zero Infrastructure Requirements-

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Following extensive press and industry anticipation, Cemaphore Systems today announced pricing and availability of the company's new MailShadow[R] for Google Apps (MailShadowG) application. MailShadowG is an Outlook Add-in that immediately and fully synchronizes Exchange email, calendars and contacts between Outlook, Exchange and Gmail[TM].

On the heels of Cemaphore's Beta1 launch to several hundred participants in mid-May, the company announced that it will begin its Beta2 program as planned for the end of June 2008. Based on strong results from the Beta1 program and with well over 2,300 participants signed up for Beta2, Cemaphore will make its Beta2 program a public release. Beta2 participants will be allowed to purchase the product at the discounted price of $29.95 per seat for the first year. Following Beta2, general availability is anticipated to begin at the end of Q3 2008 at the annual license price of $49.95.

"Many companies are realizing just how mission critical email is for them and as a result are investing in Email continuity solutions to assure availability and full integrity despite unplanned events and disasters," says Donna Scott, VP and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner, Inc. "While most large enterprises already have a continuity plan that includes DR for email, most small and mid-sized companies do not. Moreover, often they don't have the facilities or the staff to enable DR much less a full continuity solution, making a low-cost, easy-to-implement service-based approach appealing."

Cemaphore's MailShadowG is the first web services--based email continuity and disaster recovery solution to fully utilize the robust Google Apps cloud-based services, company officials noted, providing email users with continuity, content management, and portability of their rich email. MailShadow's transaction-based architecture synchronizes all content bi-directionally in real time. Content is protected and can be viewed transparently from Outlook or via Google's web interfaces for Gmail, contacts and Google Calendar[TM].

"We are extremely pleased that our beta process has moved smoothly and we have received excellent feedback, allowing us to bring MailShadowG to the market as quickly as possible," said Tyrone Pike, Cemaphore President and CEO. "The response to our announcement--and to our beta program--has far exceeded our expectations, and has validated our expectations of the keen market need to make the highest level of email continuity available the cloud with zero infrastructure."

Following this Summer's launch of MailShadowG, Cemaphore has reiterated its commitment to develop and release additional web service--based MailShadow solutions for other major Email Service Providers as well.
