X1 Technologies Enhances the X1 Professional Client with new Performance Options for Microsoft Exchange
PASADENA, Calif. -- X1 Technologies, Inc., the innovator in enterprise search solutions, today announced the availability of two components of the X1 Enterprise Search Suite. The first is the X1 Professional Client 6.2.1 which is available immediately for download and purchase. Key to this latest release of the X1 Professional Client is the new, customizable "throttling" performance feature that allows administrators to control how X1 indexes Microsoft Exchange Server in online mode (Cached Exchange Mode disabled). This exciting new feature gives administrators the power to customize the throttling rate for X1 based on their environment and internal service level agreements. In addition, a new release of the X1 Content Connector for Symantec Enterprise Vault, version 1.2, is now available. The X1 Content Connector for Symantec Enterprise Vault 1.2 in connection with the new X1 Professional Client 6.2.1 product now provide Vault users the ability to transparently search files within Vault with no re-indexing overhead. This is in addition to the ability to search emails and attachments stored within Symantec Enterprise Vault.
