Former Merrill Lynch Litigation Specialist Named VP of Discovery Strategy by Prominent Discovery Management Company

Ms. Hinzmann will lead and expand DiscoverReady's financial services practice group, which has grown dramatically due to the recent surge of subprime mortgage and auction rate security activity in the financial services industry.

Hinzmann, 31, was previously VP and Counsel for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith LLC in NYC. As counsel for Merrill's brokerage business, she served as liaison between the business operation and outside counsel in customer arbitrations and litigations in the US and Latin America. She managed document collection and supervised discovery responses both for litigation and regulatory purposes. Prior to that, Hinzmann held several other roles at Merrill in the U.S. and abroad, and she was an attorney at Jenkens & Gilchrist, PC (now Hunton & Williams LLP).
